Russell O. Barnhart


Russell O. Barnhart 89, passed away on January 19th, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He was born October 28th, 1922 in Morrow, Ohio.

He was survived by his wife, Alice of 68 years; one son Michael (Patricia) Barnhart; two grand daughters, Kimberly Leis and Shari Hammond; two great grand children Emily and Ryan.

Russell retired in 1981 from WPAFB. He also served overseas in WW II in the 8th Air Corp. He was a 50+ member of the New Carlisle Masonic Blue Lodge 100; Scottish Rite, Dayton Ohio; Life member of the Medway #9684; Medway Amvets #148; Member of the #2464 Crystal Lake Moose.

He was preceded in death by for older sisters.

At his request, there will be no services and his remains will be donated to Wright State University School of Medicine.
