Ruth G. Bard
Ruth G. Bard, 90, of Springfield went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 3, 2008 in Forest Glen Health Campus.
She was born in Springfield, Ohio on December 13, 1917, the daughter of James Pearl and Effie Elizabeth (Crist) Robison.
Ruth was a member of First Christian Church and retired from Robbins & Myers as a machinist with over 31 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband James Henry Bard; two sons Lonnie Richard and David Allen Bard; three sisters; and two brothers.
Ruth is survived by one son and daughter in law, James W. "Billy" and Pat Bard of Springfield; two sisters Naomi Murphy of Kiowa, Colorado and Glenna Owens of Springfield; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 PM and one hour prior to services in the First Christian Church. A celebration of Ruth's life will Friday at 10:00 AM in the First Christian Church with Craig Grammer, John Wilson, and David Augustus officiating. Burial to follow in Newton Union Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested to First Christian Church . RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
