Patsy R. Burcham


Patsy R. Burcham, 81, of Columbus, a former resident of the Springfield area, passed away Sunday January 18, 2009 in Mt. Carmel West Hospital in Columbus.

She was born November 7, 1927 in Hamlin, West Virginia, the daughter of Everment and Nella (Ray) Miller.

Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Vickie and Dustin Walters of South Charleston and Cindy Burcham of Columbus; sister and two brothers-in-law, Glenna and Walt Laughlin of Springfield; brother-in-law, Stanley Burcham of Springfield; two grandchildren, Logan (Sarah) Walters and Lindsay Walters all of Denver, Colorado; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Glendon; sister, Pauline Burcham; three brothers, Tom, Leo and Lyle Miller.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, where funeral services will follow at 6:30 p.m.

A private burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
