Marjorie Alma Brown


Marjorie Alma Brown, 87, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2008 in the St. John's Center.

She was born on December 17, 1920 in Xenia, Ohio the daughter of Chester A. and Ethel V. (Bailey) Brown. She was a 1939 graduate of Xenia High School.

She is survived by a daughter, Vicky L. Brown of Springfield, two brothers and one sister-in-law: Donald W. and Margaret Brown of Columbus, and Carl L. Brown of Dayton, one sister and brother-in-law, Sarah B. and David Mora of Pomroy, Ohio, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of sixty-three years, Warren G. Brown, and a brother, Victor L. Brown.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Jim Welch officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the time of service. Burial will be in the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
