Margaret L. Boyer


Margaret L. Boyer, 75, of Springfield went home to be with the Lord on Saturday afternoon, February 2, 2008 in her daughter's residence.

She was born October 29, 1932 in Springfield, the daughter of Roy and Kathlyn (Hauck) Souders.

Margaret attended Middle Urbana Missionary Baptist and enjoyed cooking and crafts.

Survivors include one daughter, Karolyn L. Boyer of Springfield; one son, Mark W. Boyer of Springfield; seven grandchildren, Lloyd Fahl, Tracy Boyer, Stacy Evans, Bill LeValley and Patrick, Christopher and Gabriel Ratliff; three great grandchildren, Caleb Evans, Lynna and Victoria LeValley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of over 40 years, Clarence William Boyer Jr. in November of 1992 and daughter, Rosemary Boyer.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 from 5-7 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at noon in the Ferncliff Cemetery Chapel.
