Melissa Kay Baker


Melissa "Mitzi" Kay Baker, 49, of Hilliard, Ohio passed away Monday, March 23, 2009 in the Doctor's West Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born August 12, 1959 in Fort Knox, Kentucky, the daughter of Jerry and Linda (Barcafer) Fenton.

Mitzi enjoyed collecting little collectibles and loved people so much. She was a very caring person and loved her nieces and nephews as if they were here own children. Mitzi will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her mother; beloved husband of 23 years, Kevin O. Baker; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Brenda and Larry Judy and Laura Tucker all of Springfield; one brother, Shawn Fenton of Springfield; aunts and uncles, Thomas and Nancy Harber, Phil and Ruth Barcarfer and George and Brenda Norman; nine nieces, Ashlee Ott, Patricia Curtis, Christina Crose, Joanna Perkins, Heidi Jolly, Kimi McCain, Tami Webb, Dawn Baker and Kerry Baker; four nephews, Ty Ott, David Tucker, Sean McCain and Brian Baker; great nieces, Cameren and Taylor Ott and numerous other great nieces and nephews; cousins, John, Amy, David and Debbie Harber.

She was preceded in death by her father and nephew, Jeffrey Ott.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.

Funeral services will be on Friday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with Ted Kaskaras officiating.

Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Burial Park.
