Josette P. Burns


Josette P. Burns, 78, of Springfield died February 28, 2009 in her residence. She was born in Vienna, Austria on April 25, 1930.

She had been employed as a cook for the Meadows Restaurant and later the Homestead Cafeteria until her retirement.

Survivors include her daughter Diana Marie Burns, Springfield; Sister-in-law, Nancy Hoffman, Centerville, OH; special friends Lucille Frock, Cheryl Copes, Barbara Burton and Betty Morris and her special caregivers Lisa Cavins, Diane and Sharon.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harry J. Burns in 1994.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in Ferncliff Chapel with Fr. Paul Hurst officiating.
