Jacqueline F. Botkin


Jacqueline F. "Jackie" Botkin, 77, of Springfield died at 3:30 p.m. February 23, 2009 in Oakwood Village. She was born in Springfield on November 9, 1931 the daughter of Daniel K. and Mary C. (Garrett) Keleher.

She retired in 1987 from W.P.A.F.B. after thirty-four years of service.

Survivors include three children and spouses, Lori and Jay Carpenter, Randy and Debbie Botkin all of Springfield, Greg A. Botkin, Davie, FL; six grandchildren, Hilarie, Hayley, Colm, Caleb, Chris and Ryan; great granddaughter, Moira; sister, Norma Jackson, Springfield and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband George in 1995, a son Rick Botkin and a daughter Vicki Botkin.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday in the Conroy Funeral Home with Pastor Roger A. Herrig officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to Dr. To and all the staff at Oakwood Village for the wonderful care and support they gave to Jackie. Inurnment will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
