Dr. Jack E. Bonham DVM


Dr. Jack E. Bonham DVM, 65, of Springfield, passed away after a lengthy illness at Community Hospital, Sunday March 29, 2009. He was born September 5, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Charles and Betty (Crook) Bonham.

He was a graduate of The Ohio State University.

He is survived by his mother Betty; wife, Linda; sister Gloria Jean Parker; children, Todd and wife Stasi Bonham, Kim and husband Brett Dunn, Kay and husband Mike Labosky, David and wife Beth Bonham, and Pam and husband Derek Drewery; stepchildren Charles and wife Kristin Taulbee and Kim and husband Don Forcher; 11 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles E. Bonham.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Community Hospital 3 south with special thanks to Kathy Wagner for her loving care.
