James M. Biggs


James M. Biggs, 72, of Springfield, passed away at 8:29 PM Saturday, May 17, 2008.

He was born May 24, 1935 in Atmore, Alabama, the son of Jake and Mildred (Copeland) Biggs.

Mr. Biggs was an avid train collector and was a Veteran of the Navy during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years Gloria J. (Wilson) Biggs, children; Robert Wilson and Cherie Doughman of Indiana, Debbie Reynolds ( Stephen Benson) of Springfield, grandchildren; Caitlin, Dusten and Cordell Wilson, Timthey and Patrick Mosco, sisters in law Judy Wilson, Sandra Wilson of Springfield, Barbara (Lloyd) Hardy, California and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday in Rose Hill Burial Park Chapel with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 AM until the time of services. Burial will follow.

Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
