Howard W. Baugh


Howard W. Baugh, 95, of Springfield, went to be with his Lord, on Saturday, March 14, 2009 in his residence. He was born on August 3, 1913 the son of Cecil and Nora (Baker) Baugh.

Howard was a retired Teamster from Parts Transport, retiring in 1976. He was an avid reader and loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a born again Christian who loved his Lord and loved to serve and do the Lord's work.

Survivors include: daughters, Sandra and Robert Warren, Judy Blair of Springfield; Bonnie McDonald and special friend, Gail Breneman of Marysville; Cindi Robbins of Parkersburg, West Virginia; sons: Gary Baugh, John and Barbara Baugh, Robert and Tammy Baugh, and Terry and Brenda Baugh all of Springfield; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Baugh of Springfield, and special granddaughter, Amber Grivois of Springfield. He is also survived by a brother, Gene Baugh of Eustis, Florida, and a special friend, Voneva Merritt of Springfield; nineteen grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of forty-nine years, Pauline R. Baugh in 1996, and a son, Charles W. Baugh in 2007.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2009 from 4-8 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME where services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Dale Stumbo officiating. Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Lower Valley Pike, 3865 Lower Valley Pike, Springfield, OH 45506.
