Geraldean Barnett

Geraldean Barnett, 86, formerly of the Springfield Towers, passed away at 3:26 AM Tuesday, January 27, 2009 in Heartland of Springfield. She was born February 21, 1922 in Nashville, Tennessee, the daughter of Josh and Irene Martin.

Survivors include two daughters; Joan Thornburg, Springfield, and Sherry ( Gary) Elliott, South Carolina, three grandchildren; George (Dori) Thornburg, Tammy (Jr.) Willis, Kearstin (Dan) Gearhart, seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Harold Barnett and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Vale Cemetery.
