Eldon Bush


Eldon Bush, 62 of Springfield died at 3:50 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2008 in his residence. He was born in Hazard County, KY on December 23, 1946 the son of John and Mary (Roberts) Bush.

He had been employed as a driver for Vince Trucking for over thirty years. He was a US Army Vietnam War veteran and a member of the DAV.

Survivors in addition to his mother of Springfield include two sons and daughter-in-law, Lonnie and Heather Bush, Virginia Beach, VA, Westley Bush, Springfield; four grandchildren, Dakota, Ica, organ and John William; eight siblings and spouses, James and Tooney Bush, Betty and Larry McCombs all of Urbana, Paul Bush, Mabel Hostetler, Kathy and Charles Phares, John Bush Jr., Debbie and Howard Self all of Springfield, Joyce Early, Cincinnati, OH; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucinda and Mimia.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday in the Conroy Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Bud Rose officiating. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
