Delores A. Bellew


Delores A. Bellew, 71, of Springfield passed away Sunday evening, July 6, 2008 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center-Fountain Campus.

She was born February 10, 1937 in Oldtown, Kentucky the daughter of Roy and Cynthia (Boggs) Moore.

Delores enjoyed gardening and cooking for everyone. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her loving husband of 38 years, Leroy Bellew; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Cliff Fullon of Springfield; son and daughter-in-law, John and Elizabeth Floyd of Kentucky; two sisters, Helen Brown of Kentucky and Ruby Chan of Columbus, Ohio; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy Jr. and Lois Moore of Oldtown, Kentucky and Cecil and Betty Moore of Oldtown, Kentucky; five grandchildren and spouses, John Randall (Courtney) Floyd, Rusty (Jasmine) Fullon, Darby and Alex Floyd and Lila Beth Floyd; three great grandchildren, Caden Floyd, Sophie Floyd and Nathaniel Fullon and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lillian Salsbury; three brothers, Clifford "Pip" Moore, Leslie Moore and Jim Moore.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 from 5-8 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor David Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery.
