Dorothy C. Beach
Dorothy C. Beach, 90, of Springfield, joined her loving Savior on Sunday, March 2, 2008 in Heartland of Springfield.
She was born in New Lexington, Ohio on May 20, 1917 the daughter of Hugh and Ora (Bruster) Kiener.
Dorothy was a devoted member of St. Bernard Church and has resided in Springfield most of her life. While Dorothy was able she took great pride in keeping her home and yard in impeccable condition, having won the Neighborhood Beautification Award five times.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Kathie Beach, Lynnwood, WA; four grandchildren and spouses Curtis and Jessica Beach, Renton, WA, Debra Osmond, Glasgow, Scotland, Holly and Mark Ivers, Marysville, WA, Erik and Jenni Offield, Mukilteo, WA; eight great grandchildren Ashleigh and Madison Beach, Ryan Osmond, Annie, Jillian and Austin Ivers, Parker and Payton Offield.
Dorothy thrived as long as her body would allow. Our deep thanks to James Riley for being the best neighbor one could have. A special thanks to the staff at Heartland of Springfield and Heartland Hospice and Community Mercy Hospice for the wonderful care mother received.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Calvary Cemetery Chapel with Fr. Paul Hurst officiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements by Conroy Funeral Home.
