Charles Baugh


Charles Baugh, 71, of Springfield, passed on at 10:30 p.m. Sunday September 2, 2007 in his residence.

He was born July 26, 1936 in Springfield, OH to Howard and Pauline (Clark) Baugh. Charles had retired in 2001 from Active Transport after 20 years of service. He was a 36 year member of the Teamsters Local 654, member of the Union Club and was a Korean Conflict Veteran having served in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors in addition to his father, Howard, of Springfield include his wife of 45 years, Dorothy (Burkhardt); 2 children and spouses, Michael and Michelle Baugh and Tammy and Kurt Gallmeyer; a granddaughter, Courtney Baugh all of Springfield; 8 brothers and sisters, Sandra (Robert) Warren, Gary Baugh, Judy Blair, John (Barb) Baugh, Springfield, Bonnie McDonald (and friend, Gail), Marysville, OH, Robert (Tami) Baugh, Terry (Brenda) Baugh and Cindi Robbins, Springfield; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express a special appreciation to Dr. Singh and the staff of Community Mercy Hospice.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Conroy Funeral Home with his brother, John Baugh officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 12 noon. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial donations may be made to Community Mercy Hospice.
