Betty L. Butler


Betty L. Butler, 92, passed away Wednesday May 18, 2011 in Sidney, Ohio (formerly of Springfield, Ohio).

She was born Sept. 28, 1919 in Elizabeth Township, Miami County, Ohio the daughter of the late William Paul & Esther Lurie (Leffel) Snapp.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William (Mike) & Marilyn Butler; daughter and son-in-law, Jane & Jack Pillion; five grandchildren, Tonya Fair, Russ Miller, Gail Matuszak, Adam Pillion, and Molly Williams; nine great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. (Bill) Butler; two brothers, Howard & Robert Snapp; a sister, Nancy Fish.

Visitation was held Saturday, May 21, at the Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, New Carlisle. Private burial will be at the convenience of the family in New Carlisle Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Dorothy Love Life Care Fund, 3003 W. Cisco Rd., Sidney, Ohio 45365.
