Betty C. Brumfield


Betty C. Brumfield, 76, of Springfield died at 4:18 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2007 in Mercy Medical Center.

She was born in Springfield on July 6, 1930 the daughter of Stanley J. and Garnet (Schramm) Stewart. She had been employed by VFW Post 1031 for ten years and prior to that time had worked for various restaurants in the Springfield area for a number of years. She was a former member of St. Joseph Church, life member of VFW #1031 Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include five children and spouses Lester J. and Linda Brumfield, Baltimore, MD, Michael and Marti Brumfield, Charles E. Brumfield, Bonnie Carol Puckett, Martha Ann and David Holbrook all of Springfield, ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son Joseph E. Brumfield Jr, and two brothers William and Stanley Stewart.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday in the Conroy Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with Rev. Danny Miller officiating. Burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery, Huntsville, Ohio. Memorial donations may be made to the Wings of Love Church.
