Betty Ann Bruce


Betty Ann Bruce, 67, of Springfield, passed away Monday, March 9, 2009 in Good Shepherd Village. She was born September 22, 1941 in Ironton, Ohio, the daughter of Emory and Mildred (Hanshaw) Clark.

Mrs. Bruce attended the Erie Avenue Nazarene Church and was a member of the Red Star Lodge.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years; Charles H. Bruce, three children; Rickey (Roberta) Bruce, Newport, Vermont, Mark (Lisa) Bruce, Springfield, Debbie Bruce and fiance Terrence Johnson, Springfield, ten grandchildren; Rickey, Christina, Nicholas, Victoria, Alexandria, Chad, Brittany, Amanda, Kristopher and Whitney, five great grandchildren; Rickey, Isaiah, Gabriel, Adrianna and Jayden, one brother; Jim Clark, Barton, Vermont and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister; Bonnie Clay, three brothers; Charlie, George and Bill Clark and her parents.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Billie Hickman officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
