William G. Auckerman


William G. Auckerman, 76, of Springfield, died unexpectedly at 9:00 a.m. February 4, 2008 in E.R. of Community Hospital.

He was born December 27, 1931 in Springfield, Ohio to Daniel Lonzo and Ada Irene (Wilt) Auckerman.

Bill retired as a millwright and painter for Cooper Energy after 30 years of service. He was member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include 2 children and spouse, David and Dianne Auckerman, Englewood, Colorado and Teresa Santos, Springfield, Ohio; 3 grandchildren, Raymond Santos, Daniel and Jennifer Auckerman; 2 Great grandchildren; and 3 sisters.

He was preceded in death his wife of 39 years, Esther Irene (Mumma) and 2 sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4400 Derr Rd., Springfield, with Bishop David Geurts officiating. CONROY FUNERAL HOME is handling the arrangements.
