Wayne V. Aliff
Wayne V. Aliff, 74, of South Charleston died peacefully in his home, Thursday, February 21, 2008.
He was born May 29, 1933 in Huntington, West Virginia the son of Roy Lee and Naomi Marie (Jefferson) Aliff and had been a Springfield resident since 1952.
Mr. Aliff retired from Ohio Edison with 30 years service and was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church. He is survived by his high school sweetheart Mary Ann (Bowen) Aliff to whom he has been married almost 56 years. Also surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law Jack and Ellen Aliff of Largo, Florida, Rick and Denise Aliff of Springfield; one daughter and son-in-law Cathie and Gary Dollinger of South Vienna; five granddaughters Melissa (Derick) Remley, Kristy (Eddie) Wiles, Candy Jo Aliff, Lindsay Dollinger and Courtnay Dollinger; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son Ronny Aliff, one brother and one sister.
Friends may call Monday from 5-8 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM. in the Memorial Home with Pastor Mark Rucker officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
