Teresa S. Assani


Teresa S. Assani, 49, of 14275 Sidney-Freyburg Rd. Anna, OH, formerly of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at 3:04 p.m. at her home, due to natural causes. She was born on July 30, 1959 in Pikeville, Kentucky, the daughter of James Scott of Portage, IN, and Melba (Stanley) Fetty of Springfield, OH.

On August 28, 1983 she married Behzad Assani, who survives, along with three sons, Kaivon, Keavash, and Korash all at home, and three brothers, Barry K. Scott and wife Cora of San Antonio, TX, James Bryant Scott and wife Claudia of Radcliff, KY, and Lonnie B. Scott and wife Mayla of Springfield, OH.

Mrs. Assani earned her associates degree in business administration from Clark State University, and was working towards her bachelors in business administration from Wright State University. She spent most of her working career at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, as a secretary.

Teresa was of the Christian faith, and spent time singing with the Sweet Adeline's Choir in Sidney.

Funeral Services will be held Friday at 7 p.m. from the Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave. Sidney, OH, with Rev. Donnie Feltner officiating. Friends may call Friday from 5 p.m. until the hour of service, at the funeral home.

A graveside committal service will be held Monday, at 10:30 a.m., from Smith Cemetery in Sidney, Kentucky. Friends may call Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the JW Call and Son Funeral Home, 703 Hambley Blvd., Pikeville, KY.

Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society, in memory of Teresa S. Assani.
