Donald Anderson


Donald Anderson, 77, of Springfield, passed away Sunday February 15, 2009. He was born June 8, 1931 in Springfield the son of the late Virgil & Esther (Huffman) Anderson.

He was a retired rural postal carrier.

He is survived by a daughter, Brenda & Denny Markley of Canfield, Ohio; a son, Doug Anderson of Xenia, Ohio; a grandson, Carson Markley; a brother, Robert & Carryl Anderson; a sister, Martha Weller; special friend, Penny Hebble; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will 4-8 p.m. Thursday February 19, 2009 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Bible Church, 1500 Groop Rd., Springfield, Ohio 45504 or German Twp. Fire & EMS, 3940 Lawrenceville Dr., Springfield, OH 45504.
