Hello, we had a great camp out this weekend. Ten boys were able to participate and I think they all had a good time. We wanted to let you know the dates for the camp outs for the next few months so that you and the boys can hopefully schedule them into your calendars along with all of the spring sports and other spring activities.
March 21st - camp out at Ceasar's Creek
April 24-25th - Deerfield Michigan camp out with trip to Deerfield Village
May 16th Buck Creek State Park - Bike in with gear
June 22-26 Scout Camp
We are trying to stick to the third weekend of the month for our outings. We hope this will also help you in your planning to try and keep those weekends free for the boys to participate. Certainly there will be exceptions when we have holidays as with April. We would also appreciate having a different parent sign up to go along on these camp outs and share these experiences with your sons. If you know you are available or would like to come along on one of these please talk to one of the leaders. We would like to offer at least one outing a month and we always need at least two adults and would like 3-4. Sometimes the adult leaders have commitments as well, so if you can help out that would be great. That being said we also need some extra help with scout camp this summer. We need two parents at camp every night and preferably two during the day. If you could take one night to spend at camp and go to work from there or take a day or two to stay at camp that would go a long way towards helping us get those times filled in early. Please check your schedules to see when you can help out. Also, just a reminder that we have committee meetings the second Tuesday of the month at the church at 6:30 to plan events and would love more parent participation. Other than that have a great week, we'll see you Wednesday.

Just a reminder: Our meeting time for Troop 131 has been changed to 6:30-8pm.
