Mitchell J. Brening


Mitchell J. Brening, 49, passed peacefully from this life on Monday, June 2, 2008 in Springfield Regional Medical Center East Campus.

He was born May 18, 1959 in Springfield the son of Jay and Verna (Johnson) Brening.

He was a wonderful son, husband, father, brother and friend. Mitchell loved all the things of nature and found joy in all its simplest pleasures. He was an employee of the Kreider Corporation for over thirty years.

Mitchell is survived by his parents, his wife of twenty-eight years Kathy (Frederick) Brening; his daughter and a son-in-law Jessica and Kenneth Belles III, daughter Casey Brening and Alexander Fife; sister and brother-in-law Gretchen and Robert Bayless; his best friend Marc Berry; father and mother-in-law Cletus and Julia Frederick; sister-in-law Margaret Thacker; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Thomas and Julie Frederick, Tad and Lisa Frederick and Gary Frederick; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be gathering of family and friends Friday from 5-7 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Memorial services will be held in his honor Friday at 7:00 PM. in the Memorial Home.

The family would like to extend their thanks to all the doctors and staff who cared for Mitchell and his family. God Bless You All. To all of you who prayed for us and supported us, thank you, you saw us through. Donations in Mitchell's honor may be made to the charity of your choice.
